The university of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has just passed a memorandum notifying students that the portal for course registration has been reopened for 7 days but this time it won’t be free, There will be a penalty of ₦10,000 attached to it.
Below was exactly how the memorandum was issued.

SUBJECT: RE-OPENING OF PORTAL FOR REGISTRATION OF COURSES FOR SECOND SEMESTER 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION
You will recall that Second Semester of 2019/2020 academic session commenced on March 22, 2021. Students were expected to have registered their courses from March 22, 2021 to April 16, 2021. However, the portal was left open for late registration of courses till May 31, 2021 before the portal was closed.
Since the release of examination timetable, some students have been flocking our Office requesting for opening of portal for registration of courses before the commencement of examinations on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Consequent upon the above, and in order to allow these students the opportunity to register their courses and take the forthcoming Examinations, thereby avoiding loss of an academic year, you are hereby directed to re- open the portal for another seven (7) days for course registration. However, the re-opening of the portal is subject to a penalty of N10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only).
Please note that overstay students are exempted from the above window for registration of courses, until the University grants another amnesty.
