WAEC releases 2021 WASSCE Result

The West African Examinations Council, Nigeria, on Monday, released the West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for School Candidates, 2021 in Nigeria. FG Authorizes Waec TO CONDUCT NIN REGISTRATION FOR WASSCE CANDIDATES

The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Education, has authorized the West African Examination Board to register the national ID number for candidates who sign up for the West African High School Certificate Exam. This was disclosed in a memo to the regional coordinator, which was titled “Registration Of Candidates For WASSCE (SC) And PC With The National Identification Number (NIN)’. WAEC announces date for the release of 2021 WASSCE results and Certificates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the date for the release of the ongoing 2021 WASSCE result. The examination council’s director of public affairs, Demianus Ojijeogu, said the results will be out 45 days after the last paper is written. Ojijeogu reportedly added that the certificates will also be available 90 days after the last paper is written. The Examination which reportedly started in Nigeria on Monday, August 16, will end on Thursday, October 8th, 2021.

Waec Elects new chairman

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has elected a Ghanaian professor, Ato Essuman as its 20th chairman. The election took place during the 69th meeting of Council held virtually from March 22-26. A statement by the Head of Public Affairs, WAEC, Mr. Abiodun Adukoju, noted that Essuman takes over from Mr. Baboucarr Bouy from the Gambia for a tenure of three years.
