Just today, 17th August 2021, A letter was sent to the SENATE SUG President, Dist.Senator Nnamani Ifeanyi informing him of his impeachment from being the Student Union Government Senate President of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka(UNN) and listing out the alleged charges placed on him, also asking him to refund over N3,238,500 back to the Student Union's Account. UNIABUJA moves to Dissolve Student Union Government (SUG)

The Management of University of Abuja has directed the dissolution of the Students Union Government ( Executive Committee, Students Representative Assembly and Judicial Committee), for having overstayed its tenure in office. The Government was elected in September 2019. Following the dissolution, a Caretaker Committee is to be constituted to run the affairs of the Union. The Committee is expected to comprise representatives of all Faculties, drawn from "all regions of the country among our students" for the consideration of the Vice-Chancellor, according to a memo signed by the Registrar, Malam Yahya I. Mohammed.
