21 persons in police trouble for killing 7 ‘witches’ in Adamawa

The Police have confirmed the arrest of 21 suspects, in connection with the killing of seven persons over witchcraft, in a village in Adamawa. Aliyu Adamu, Commissioner of Police in the state, at a news conference on Monday in Yola, confirmed arrest of the suspects from Dasin Bwate, Fufore Local Government Area, of the state. Police arrest officer whose stray bullet killed innocent passenger

The Police Command in Edo says it has arrested one of its personnel who fired a shot that killed a passenger in Benin on Friday. Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Kontongs Bello, disclosed this in a statement he issued in Benin on Saturday. Bello explained that the officer, who is of the anti-kidnap and cybercrime unit of the command, was trying to arrest a murder suspect when he fired a shot to restrain the fleeing suspect. Police declares a 200l student of unical missing

A 200 level student of the Department of Agriculture Extension/Rural Sociology, University of Calabar, Kedei Iwara Ibiang, has been declared missing by the police. statement issued by the Cross River State Police Command on Friday, August 13, said the 20-year-old student left home on the 11th of August 2021 to write his exams but didn’t get to school nor returned home.
