FG To Compensate Victims Of #EndSARS Protests

The Federal Government has said that it will compensate victims of the #EndSARS protests that occurred nationwide last year. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja on Wednesday in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the #EndSARS protests. Mohammed revealed that all security agencies and civilians indicted by the various judicial commissions across the country will be prosecuted accordingly. #EndSARS: Police Ban Street Protests In Lagos State

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced that it will not allow any street protest in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the #EndSARS protest. The Command also denied that it has granted approval for any street protest in whatever form to hold tomorrow in commemoration of the #EndSARS movement. A former Nigerian governor has died on Friday, October 1st. Commodore Ibrahim Keffas who was a former administrator during the military regime of Sanni Abacha in Delta and Cross river died on independence day. The ex-ruler’s death was announced on AIT News.
