Mouau student drops “Juju” in front of lecturer’s office, ” Resolve our result issue or you face what’s to come”

An aggrieved student allegedly left a ‘sacrifice’ in front of a lecturer’s staff office in Michael Okpara University, Abia State. The campus was left in shock as everyone resumed in the morning to see a sacrifice pot in front of the staff’s office and a large threat notice on the wall. The student, who threatened to send some staff of the Biochemistry department of the institution to their early grave, disclosed that there was no seriousness in resolving the issues 400 level students of the department have. MOUAU appoints new dean of students’ affairs

This is to inform students of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, and the public that the management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, has removed Prof. Sabina A. Eyisi as the Dean of Students' Affairs. Prof. Marc Nwosu Ogbuagu, from the College of Physical and Applied Sciences (COLPAS), has been appointed to takeover from her with immediate effect. Nwosu is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry.

Two students of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) have been praised for rescuing an abandoned newborn baby found on a farmland, on the university premises. Narrating how the baby was rescued, Ukeje Chukwuebuka, a 400 level student of the Department of Animal Breeding and Physiology, said he alongside his friend, Irodiuwa Macholly, had found the baby on their way to the farm on Tuesday morning, May 18, lying helplessly. MOUAU former vice-chancellor dies in a car accident

The immediate past vice-chancellor of the Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike Prof. Francis Ogbonnaya Otunta has died in a car accident. According to reports, he died on Monday, 29 March in a car accident on his way to Enugu from his hometown. Until his demise, Francis Ogbonnaya Otunta was a Nigerian academia and the fifth vice-chancellor of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike following his appointment in December 2015 to February 2021.
