Italian Serie A side, Udinese, have signed Nigeria forward Isaac Success from Premier League outfit Watford on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Nigeria international arrived in Italy late last week and was quarantined in Rome due to the mandatory COVID-19 regulations for those arriving from England.

Confirming his arrival on the club’s website, Udinese said the former Granada forward had penned a three-year contract, a deal which will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season

“Isaac Success landed today from England, the fifth signing of this Udinese transfer campaign that will strengthen the Juventus attack” the club wrote in a statement.

“The Juventus attack is enriched with power, strength and technical quality.

“Success comes from Watford outright and binds to Udinese until June 30, 2024. Versatile and strong attacker physically able, thanks to his explosiveness; to vary on the whole offensive front, acting both as a winger and first striker, he represents a precious addition for the black and white squad.”

Success joined Watford from Spanish side Granada in 2016, netting his first goal against AFC Bournemouth in 2017, but the 25-year-old endured a torrid time as he made a total of 72 appearances and scored seven goals. He also failed to score in the entire 2019/20 season.
