NASU, SSANU Extends Strike – “FG Is Still A Long Way From Reaching Our Demands”

The Non-academic staff Union (NASU) together with the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) have extended their Strike by Two (2) More Months.

SSANU President, Mr Mohammed Ibrahim made this known today, Wednesday together with his General Secretary, Mr. Peter Adeyemi.

In a Statement they made, They stated that The federal government is still a long way from reaching to their agreement, So it is in review of that they have decided to extend the strike by 2 weeks, Taking effect from 24th Friday, June 2022.

It is also important to recall that SSANU, NASU have been on strike since Sunday, March 27, 2022.
